Thirty women, covered only with tape, posed naked in a campaign against Facebook’s nudity rules. This idea was born out of rage after Trina Cary, a photographer specialising in nude self-portraits, was banned from Facebook for posting pictures that violated the social media’s nudity policy.
“We as women are so frequently told our bodies are dirty, or need to be hidden, or that there is something wrong if we don’t meet certain standards. This is about owning and loving ourselves and about not being complacent when people want to censor us explained that the reason for the photoshoot was to defy facebook and all those who report her photos. One of the women told Metro UK.

Trina
Cary who believes that she is meant to be ‘baring it all to the world’
said the ban troubled her and prevented her from contacting clients for a
photoshoot. Tired of seeing violent images and videos of naked men
allowed to circulate on Facebook while hers were banned, the
photographer decided to stage a protest. She put up a post on Facebook
inviting women to join her for a nude photoshoot and to her surprise a
number of women showed up.
The
women had different reasons for being there, the most common being the
need to face their insecurities about their body and build confidence.“We as women are so frequently told our bodies are dirty, or need to be hidden, or that there is something wrong if we don’t meet certain standards. "These are the images people should see, these are the images your children should look at. Don’t you want your daughter to see a photo of you standing strong and confident, embracing your flaws and laughing with a bunch of women?
